Privacy Policy
App: Bullzy · Last updated: 4 June 2026
The short version
Bullzy has no accounts and no ads, and everything you actually create in the app (the players you add, the matches you play, your statistics and history) stays on your phone and is never sent to us. The one thing the app does send is anonymous usage analytics: which screens and features get opened, so we can see what's worth improving. There's no name attached, no account, no device ID, and no advertising tracking, so none of it can be traced back to you.
That's the whole story. The rest of this page is the detail, and your rights under the GDPR.
Who is responsible
Bullzy is made by Sebastian Pauer, trading as PauerUp, who is the data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

What stays on your device
Everything you create inside Bullzy lives only in the app's local storage on your device. The names you give players, the scores you enter, your averages, and your full match history are never transmitted to us or anyone else. We never see them. Delete the app and all of it goes with it.
What Bullzy does not do
- No account. No sign-up, no login, no profile on any server.
- No ads. Bullzy shows none, so no ad network reads your activity.
- No advertising tracking. No advertising identifier (IDFA), no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and so no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No selling or sharing of data. We do not sell your data and do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Anonymous usage analytics
To understand which parts of the app are used and which aren't, Bullzy records a small set of anonymous usage events through Aptabase, a privacy-focused analytics service that processes the data on servers in the European Union.
Anonymous by design means there is no account, no name, no device identifier, no IDFA, and no fingerprinting. The events cannot be linked to you or to a single device across sessions.
What is measured is limited to roughly a dozen feature signals:
- which screens you open,
- when a match starts, finishes, or is abandoned, together with the game mode, the number of players, the best-of length, and whether it was a tournament,
- when you change a setting, or tap a few specific buttons,
- and the standard technical details Aptabase attaches automatically: operating system and version, device model, app version, and language.
What is never measured: the names you give players, the actual scores you throw, your statistics, and your match history. Those stay on the device, as described above.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Because the data is anonymous and carries no identifier, your interests are not overridden: it cannot be connected back to you.
Aptabase acts as a processor on our behalf. You can read about it at aptabase.com and its privacy terms at aptabase.com/legal/privacy.
Data that exists outside the app
- The Apple App Store. When you download Bullzy or contact support through the store, Apple processes that as the store operator under its own privacy policy. We may receive anonymous, aggregated sales and download statistics from Apple (for example, total downloads per country), which never identify you personally. See Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
- The Google Play Store. When you download Bullzy or contact support through Google Play, Google processes that as the store operator under its own privacy policy. We may receive anonymous, aggregated install and download statistics from Google (for example, total installs per country), which never identify you personally. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Email to us. If you email office@pauerup.at, we receive your address and whatever you write, and we keep it only as long as we need it to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to you, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
How long we keep data
Your in-app data is kept only on your device, for as long as you keep it. The anonymous analytics events are retained by Aptabase for the period set in our account and are then deleted; because they carry no identifier they cannot be attributed to an individual. Support emails are kept only for as long as the conversation requires and are then deleted.
Children
Bullzy is a darts scoring tool intended for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, of any age. The analytics described above are anonymous and identify no one.
Your rights under the GDPR
For the data you create in the app, you are already in full control: you can view, edit, or erase any player, match, or statistic inside Bullzy at any time, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.
For the contact data you send us by email, you have the right to information (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). To exercise any of these, write to office@pauerup.at.
You also have the right to object to the analytics processing under Art. 21. Because the analytics are anonymous, we cannot pick out "your" events to delete, but uninstalling the app stops any further analytics from that device, and you are welcome to raise an objection with us by email.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at); in any other EU country it is the data protection authority of your country of residence.
Changes to this policy
If we change how data is handled, for example by adding an optional cloud backup or online play, we will update this page and the date above before that feature ships.
